Is the term economic development appropriate for Irricana?
The new term which seems to be more used frequently is ‘Community Economic Development’.
Most communities have used an outdated practice which is one dimensional. They seem to concentrate on only industrial, main street, or buy local thoughts and do not consider the long range plan for community development.
